Crowded House - Finsbury Park (11.06.94)

Crowded House are back on 02 July 2007 with a new studio album, Time On Earth, available on Parlophone. I'll definitely add that one to my collection. To remind you of how good they were/are, here's an excellent set from 1994, performed at The Fleadh (Irish music festival) Finsbury Park, London. The inter song banter is most entertaining, with security coming in for special treatment. The best is reserved for a poor heckler, to whom the song Pineapple Head is dedicated. Madcap stickman Paul Hester (RIP) is missing from this performance, having decided to stay at home in Melbourne.
Two part zip via Sharebee for several downloading options.
Enjoy.

08. There Goes God
09. Locked Out

I am an avid fan of Crowded House and eagerly awaiting their new material sans Paul.

I have to ask: is the Finsbury Park concert available on any disc as opposed to what you have posted for download? If so, where can I get it? I try to get originals if I can when it comes to this group.

Cheers,
John R

Hi John,

Kiss The Stone - an Italian company specialising in bootleg cds, mainly live concerts, have it for sale (catalogue number KTS322). You'll have to check out record fairs or order from their site as no record shops will touch them. Most of their catalogue is of very good quality with interesting liner notes. All are supplied as silver discs (not cd-r). You'll track them down by trying a Google search.

Cheers - Jon
